PRP is a treatment that promotes healing of injured or damaged tissues by using your own plasma from your blood. Your blood is drawn and spun by centrifuge in order to separate the plasma from the blood. The plasma is then either injected or placed on the skin. Plasma contains growth and healing factors which are beneficial and essential in wound healing.
